Welcome to Airship Productions

We are an independent production company currently based in Lincolnshire, specialising in producing documentary films exploring aspects of Britain's history and heritage as well as a range of other related media services and more recently, live theatre productions.

What We Do

As a small team, we have to be able to perform all aspects of video production, from initial concept, through research and writing to delivering the finished product. Because we do absolutely everything 'in-house' we are able to keep production costs low.

The skills and experience gained in the research and writing of video projects have enabled us to broaden our horizons and we have developed a range of characters for first-person historical interpretation for museums and heritage events.

We also produce and promote professional shows for theatre and live events and are currently accepting bookings for our latest productions

Projects

Over the past two years we have completed video projects with Nottinghamshire County Council, the Kinema in the Woods and Concert Pianist - Di Xiao. We are at the concept stage for a number of future projects but are flexible enough to take on new work as it emerges.

We are currently working with Independent Driving Routes, producing video training for learner drivers, who are now required to drive independently for 10 minutes or so during their test. This is a daunting task that we hope to make easier by providing a little familiarisation training.

The Team

Richard Burn is the Producer and Director of Airship Productions, having gained a wealth of experience in many disciplines over the years, Richard leads the team in all aspects of work from film and video, through to live theatre production.

Rebecca Grace is a talented actor, writer, researcher and presenter and also a first-person historical interpreter. She has an MPhil in Drama and Theatre Studies, while her first degree is in music. Please visit Rebecca's website for more information.
